The fine folks over at the Duke Of Awesome have taken us up in our call to arms. As in lifting our arms repeatedly towards our mouths to take monstrous pulls of our $2 beers.
Come and meet all of your favourite Buffalo Bloggers tonight at the HSBC arena. Confirmed guests include PinkJerseysSuck and ErrantRemark of Talleywhackers and Talkin_Proud and myself from firsttimelongtime. Oh, and we will be answering questions for our dozens of readers too! Don’t think that you need to have a mildly successful local blog to attend. It is open to all!
We will be meeting at the smoking doors at 6:15. If you don’t know what the smoking doors are, well, they are the doors to the right hand side in the front( The ones you go in after smoking). Any more questions? No? Good. I will be the one wearing a faded blue hat with the letter “N” in red on it.

Is anyone going to this event tonight? According to the Sabres website the following deals are in place for the evening
Food specials for the night will feature five items for $2 or less: hot dogs ($2), soda ($1.50), bottled water ($1.50), candy ($2) and 12 oz. beer/wine ($2).
So there is going to be two dollar beers and two dollar doggers? Okay, keep going…
Autograph sessions with Buffalo Sabres players and family-friendly food and drink specials highlight the NHL Entry Draft Party at HSBC Arena on Friday, June 20 from 5-9 p.m. The event is free and open to fans of all ages. Parking is also free in the arena ramp.
Free to get in? And free parking? Well how about we have a little Buffalo sports blogger get together? I know it is short notice but it might be kind of fun. At the very least, we can make fun of little kids who are not very good at hockey and try to get locker room tours. Though I am sure that we are all too old for that. Not that we wouldn’t enjoy it more than those punk brats.
