Clifton Brown of SportingNews.com reports this awesome news from Buffalo Bills safety Donte Whitner:
When asked if he expects the Bills to make the playoffs, Whitner makes it clear how serious he is. “Do I expect us to make the playoffs?” he says. “I’m guaranteeing it.” He has delivered that message to McKelvin, who was rated by many scouts as the best cornerback in the draft.
If Whitner is as wise as the Bills were for drafting him, then I caution him not to tease us.
My body may still be in a crazed state trying to condense all of the hometown pride I consumed over this July 4th weekend (Sahlens + Webers) but…I trust the man. Whitner’s conviction is now the walking stick for my blind faith.
And that is that. I’ll see the rest of you Bills fans IN THE PLAYOFFS.
