For those of you who came here Friday morning expecting my Bills preview for the weekend, I apologize. I am going to put it up on Monday. I am exhausted and really didn’t have the energy to write a lengthy Bills preview last night. Big week for the boys here at FTLT, though.
Last weekend was the bloggers nerd fest, which was a blast, and Talkin_Proud and I went the the Sabres game on Wednesday where I showed him how to efficiently walk through packed corridors in between periods. Seriously, I am like the Wayne Gretzky of hallway walking. I see a hole and I hit it hard, bobbing and weaving around people of all ages. If you ever get the chance to see it, well, I hope that you are taking notes. It takes a talented guy to go to the bathroom, smoke two cigarettes, buy four beers, and be back in time for the start of the next period. I usually try to be modest, but I am really awesome at moving quickly at sporting events. Enough bragging though, onto the links-
- Today might be the saddest day in the history of the internet. You see, my most favorite website ever has decided to call it quits.
- My birthday is next weekend. This gives you plenty of time to order this for me and have it in time to hand deliver it by then. I thank you in advance.
- The Roost has a very well done write up about about Tim Connolly. First and foremost, I am a Buffalo sports fan, and any one who does anything to hurt the chances of my teams winning, well, I dislike them. But Timmy, well, I am really just starting to be terrible for him, too.
- If you are a fan of the item listed above, here is a nice piece about the man who made it happen.

It's after six Lemon, what am I, a farmer?
- I love bad puns more than I love bragging about my ability to walk quickly through a large crowd.
- I went to Toronto this week to see the Hold Steady. If you are not into them yet, well, I don’t know what is wrong with you. This album is a good of a place to start as any.
- Did anyone else notice the shot the Bob Dicesare took at Harry Neale in the paper this week? (third from the bottom)
- Obama is a comic book collector. If you knew that before the election would you still have voted for him? I can’t help but think of the episode of 30 Rock where Jack is trying to become the CEO of NBC/GE and Steve Buscemi finds out about his cookie jar collection. This is bad Jack, very, very bad.
- It is better to be a Buffalo Blogger than a Burmese Blogger. No doubt about that. Then again, if I started to post some of the poetry that I used to write to girls in middle school I, too, might deserve to be imprisoned.
That is it for us. Expect a couple of Thomas Vanek Goal Watch write ups over the weekend, other than that, it is going to be a nice relaxing weekend, free of the Buffalo Bills making me want to rip all of my hair out. That can wait until Monday.

You must get tired of the comparisons to the Mario Lemieux of hallway walking.

Are you kidding?! If I’d known Obama was a comic book collector I would’ve voted for him TWICE!
Your 30 Rock caption cracked me up.
I’m totally bummed about FJM.
